How often can you do something that benefits you and also brings joy to others?

The ink-blue sky gracefully yielded to a crisp dawn on that last Sunday in November 2023, marking the start of Footprints 2023, a 10K Run in Bangalore, a unique event, organized by children for children. The event, echoing the spirit of athlete Rishi, aimed to leave lasting footprints for generations. Participants, including children overcoming challenges like HIV, ran with determination and joy. With over seven hundred participants from diverse backgrounds, age was no barrier. As the finishers cross the line, they were greeted with resounding cheers and were bestowed with special medals embedded with Tulsi seeds and handwritten messages from children. After the run, participants enjoyed breakfast and music, fostering connections and learning about RISHI Foundation’s activities. Purpose and transformation filled the air.
