SHELTER
Supporting Health, Education & Livelihood: Towards Empowerment and Resilience
Social and economic marginalization has a devastating impact on human development and its effects are amplified in young children. The SHELTER Program amidst the vulnerable tribal community of Santhals in Boropahari, West Bengal, seeks to create a direct and positive impact by providing opportunities for education for children, enhancing their health and nutrition status, and building capacity through skills training for economic development.
