Youth Conclave 2025

August 30, 2025

RISHI Foundation’s first-ever Youth Conclave brought together over 230 young people from across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for a day of learning, dialogue, and peer mentorship at Snehagram, Krishnagiri.

Through interactive sessions on Health, Education, Gender and Livelihood, participants explored issues such as hygiene, HIV awareness, and wellbeing; gender stereotypes and equality; goal setting, time management, and collaborative problem-solving; and career pathways for financial independence. With activities facilitated in Kannada and Tamil, every participant felt included and empowered to share their perspectives.

A panel with experts Joy Srinivasan, Ramya Sundarajan, Anup Kuruvilla, and Fr. Siby reinforced the centrality of self-belief, education, resilience, and strategic preparation. Their insights encouraged youth to confront challenges, grab opportunities, and build supportive networks.

Outstanding peers and fellows were also recognized at the event for their remarkable determination in overcoming challenges and pursuing higher education, skills, and livelihoods. From excelling in academics to inspiring others through leadership and creativity, their journeys reflect the transformative power of education and community support in shaping confident, independent futures.

The conclave was a collective step towards equipping young people to become changemakers. With new knowledge, skills, and solidarity, participants left inspired to build futures grounded in confidence and equality.
