Creativity took the spotlight during a six-day storytelling workshop held at Navasanidhya Girls’ Home in Bijapur. Led by Pratya Poosala from Johns Hopkins University, and Sahana from RISHI Foundation, the workshop engaged thirteen girls in developing their imagination, writing skills, and the courage to share their own voices. By the end of the workshop, each girl had written and illustrated her own story, creating a personal booklet that reflected her thoughts and experiences. Deepa shared, “I never thought my story was important. Now I know it is.”
